Quail eggs hatched

My bobwhite eggs are pipping and rocking. Is there an average time it takes after they pip to hatch? I'm so nervous about these eggs because the quail are for my DH, and he usually doesn't have an interest in any of my poultry. I don't know if I have ever been so nervous for a hatch.

I have 6 baby quail today. They are the cutest things ever. I can't wait to watch them grow!

Congrats! Can you post pics? I've never seen baby quail.

Hi Sara,
I've had them pip and hatch in 15 minutes, or pip and take 3 days to hatch. I don't know that there's any set time, but the best and quickest hatch I ever had was when I didn't touch them or the hatcher until the hatch was done. Just let them stay in there until their all hatched out.

They are adorable, and so tiny. This is my first experience with them. I will take pictures when I take them out of the bator later on today.
