Quail eggs started to pip almost 44 hours ago! Should I do something??? One hatched. 9 others had life, 4 days ago.

Doesn't bode well. Did the one hatch early or late?
Was the humidity kept up when hatching was imminent? Was the incubator opened at that time?
What species of quail?

They are bobtail quill and they are set to hatch yesterday today tomorrow… they 6 of them pipped Saturday night around 9/10 , the other 4 pipped by Sunday morning. Humidity has been at 65/70 , lockdown since Wednesday

I would go ahead and open them up. Likely all have passed by now but you may get lucky and have another survivor or two. I don’t know if it’s the same in quail, but for chickens, if they haven’t progressed in 24 hours then I help them.

I can hear them chirping

Do you mean bobwhite quail? The common new world species?

Use tweezers and gently take off the shell covering the air cell where they have pipped. Use a q tip dipped in warm water or coconut oil to moisten the membrane and make sure there are no large vessels. Then tear the membrane near the beak and let the head and shoulders out. Then put them back in the incubator with the shell on their bottom. After half an hour if they haven’t pushed out, then assist a little more. They will probably be very weak. Offer sugar/electrolytes in their water.
