Hi everyone,

I am setting up a new enclosure for my quail and have no idea what enrichment to put in. I made this thread so that you can all share pictures or tips on quail enclosures! Stories are welcome. I can’t wait to see all of your set ups!

When I had quail, I used a similar setup to the following*:

We had a special section in the cage, designed specifically for quail, that was used for sand bathing. Sand bathing is an absolute necessity for quail.

That’s such an amazing enclosure! I love the idea of a sand bath area it must of kept the rest of the enclosure very clean. We are adding bits and pieces to a woodshed to make their enclosure. I love how it’s on stilts was that to keep predators out?

Both to keep predators out, and for ease of access. You don’t have to bend down at all if you build the cage specific to your height.
