quail feed crumble stinks too bad

is anyone feeding grain only to their quail. crumble stinks so bad,living in town. any help

Crumble stinks when it gets wet and moldy. Is it the spilled crumble that stinks? Adjust yourself to cleaning the cage more regularly.

Quail are game birds. They need protein. You can't feed them just grain. If your feed stinks, maybe it's gone bad.
