Quail Feed - Lack of supply

Very frustrated - just as my 45 chicks are transitioning to layer age AND I'm low on turkey/game bird chick starter (I've 10 just into the brooder) I cannot secure appropriate food anywhere here in Central Ontario, Canada!!!
Managed to track down UNmedicated starter crumble /store brand, and 2 bags of Purina layer wild bird/turkey crumble @ 20% protein. I hate mixing brands, and not thrilled with nutritional content. But a birds gotta eat!
***Anybody in my area have leads on quality quail/wild game bird crumble?***

Mixing feeds is a matter of math. If one feed is 20% protein and the other is 30%, if you mix equal parts together you get 25% protein.

It's hard when you can't get proper feed for your birds. You might take the 20% feed and add a few black soldier fly larvae per day for protein. They also contain calcium, but you would still want to provide calcium on the side for your layers.
