Quail Feeder and Water. Does anyone use these?

I am looking to buy these for my quail once they move outside. Has anyone used these? What was your experience? Would you recommend a different no waste feeder?

They come with a "nipple" option too. Would that be easier? (Any something they'd use?) We are new to quail, so still learning all there is to know!

Yeah from 3 weeks onward i use nipples. They work great.

I used the cups for a while. They got really dirty. I have nipples now, and while it took the quail a little while to get used to them, they are much cleaner.

I believe this size holds 1 gallon of water and 5 lbs of food. Each of my cages will have 10-12 coturnix. How long would these last in each cage between refills? Should I find a different size or is this good?

I use the quart size, and that last 10-12 coturnix about a day and a half. I'm not sure how much my feeders hold by weight, but it's about 8 cups, and that lasts about a day and a half too.

I think water consumption varies with heat quite a bit. 1 gallon lasts about 2 weeks for 10 quail for me.

Yeah from 3 weeks onward i use nipples. They work great.

Nipples are easy to use, from what I hear cups are hard to clean out.
