I have two quail, I think they are both coturnix quail. It appears to be a boy and a girl, but I am not totally sure. They are a few days over eight weeks and I still have no eggs, could I have a little info on why there is no eggs, and if it’s a boy and girl?

And for the delay of laying eggs... can have many reasons:
Too low protein, too cold, too less light.

My three generations started with 6 to 14 weeks laying eggs, the once with 14 weeks at 8 to -5°C (46 to 23°F).

Just be patienced, ... the hen does not look overbreed. They'll have no fethers on the neck and the back, if so.
