Quail Interbreeding

Do quail have interbreeding issues if you breed the hatchlings from the same rooster, but different hens? This could possibly happen when there is one male to 5-7 hens. Do you folks find it best to hatch your own eggs or get a new batch from a professional breeder? Has anyone had a problem with stock weakening or deformities d/t possible interbreeding?

it is possible to interbreed for a few generations but you don't want to do it for more because then that is where you start having the genetic issues
