Quail lockdown

Hi everyone I'm new here. Hatching my first ever batch of quail eggs. Only 12 of them. It's day 15 today and I saw a little movement in a couple of the eggs. The humidity somehow jumped up soooo high nearly 80 so I got concerned and opened the incubator quickly removed the eggs and took some water out and put them back in. It only took a minute or two to do. Would that have killed the eggs? Also I should add I put them into lockdown last night

Mine don’t usually move until they’re hatching, don’t worry.

Don’t do the float test nonsense by the way. I know it’s hard to wait, but that info is outdated and is a good way to kill the unhatched chicks.

They should hatch day 18 under ideal incubation conditions. If it was slightly too warm or cool, they can be early or late by a couple days.
