When do the different types of quail mature(eggs/breeding)?

I like snowflake quail but they don't mature as fast as coturnix. What else is out there?

Thanks!

edit: sorry, messed up the title. Should say Maturity.

Coturnix and buttons mature at 8 weeks. Every other type of domestically kept quail matures around 30 weeks and only lays eggs during its breeding season.

Sometimes you'll get some eggs at six or seven weeks but they don't actually reach maturity until 8 weeks and with some lines of bird it's closer to 12. That's already 3-6 months faster than most chicken breeds or really any other bird, isn't that soon enough?

It is. I was just curious.

Thank you.
