Im sure something very similar to that will happenJust go for many walks in the woods at the right time and shhhhh about where you got your quail... that’s IF you could find a nest which wouldn’t be easy and if you find one and don’t get attacked by the parents you’re probably doing them a favor by taking them. I’d try to find someone nearby that has quail and get eggs that way.

yes they were introduced about 100 years ago, there is no protection laws on themIf there is no limit on them does that mean they were introduced?
