As long as they can drink out of them it should be fine.

shelleyd2008: Well you see for Thanksgiving when went out of town for 4, almost 5 days so the tiny water bottle I had wouldn't have lasted. The big rabbit waterer is just the same as the 4 two oz. mice/hamster bottles I have on the breeding pens. I don't have any mess what so ever. I did buy 1 quail waterer that is metal and you put a coke bottle on it. I don't like them because they get shavings all in the cup and then they end up getting their whole pen wet and messy!
The little blue bottles are just fine for my pairs .. it takes them at least a week to drink down. Depending on the weather. Since I had a whole bunch of buttons in that one pen they drank a whole lot more water than just 1 pair - duh!
Oh yah, I remember!! I'm thinking about bringing Angel inside and putting her in w/ Buddy!
I wonder if he would except her or not/
Tomorrow I'll try to catch Angel and the Black Tux hen and get an updated pic of them.

REALLY, I laughed so much, I am still crying. 1M/45F Those girls are going to just love that boy to death. Literally. Oh my goodness, what a typo. She meant 1M/4-5F and that will work out much better. They can become somewhat tame but never forget they can and will kill each other if the mood strikes. And it will from time to time.

Okay, I need some help. I'm trying to decided which female to put in Buddy's cage so he can have a female. ( They'll be in my room... )

Oh my goodness...my DH is going to leave me. All common sense has left my brain...I want to raise buttons. Flippin' cute!
