Hello guys,
I have an Italian golden quail that got a prolapsed vent yesterday morning. So I’ve separated her from the rest of the flock and placed her in a small dark box to prevent laying, and the internets says that I should replace the “material” back into her. The problem is that she is a very active bird, so she struggles a lot when we try to get the tissue inside and every time the tissue falls back out almost immediately. It’s been 24 hours and there are no progress
there are quite a few poop accumulating around the vent so I’ve put her in warm water to clean it but I don’t know what else to do
plsss help…
