Quail questions

Hi, my quail are 2 weeks old. I have a few questions. Can I start turning the brooder plate off in the day. What sort of pen do they need once they are older? They are coturnix

Are the indoors or outside?

They are indoors now but when they're bigger they'll have a summer pen and a winter pen.

If they're inside, they should be fine without the brooder plate during the day. I would start leaving it off at night too in another week or less.
