They get 15 hours of light a day

before she laid she was calm and sweet and after shes alot more skiddish. All her eggs were perfect and i incubated 3 and got 2 chicks

Ive check her out as far as someone without experience can. Clean eyes, Clean hole. No mites, Clean skin. Clean feet

Then perhaps it is just the molt and when that is done she will start laying eggs again. Quail do take breaks from laying. It's not always possible to see why. Good luck.

With patience and a little know how, both buttons and cortunix will brood and raise chicks. The picture below is one of my cortunix hens with her new family. I brought them into the house after hatching to keep the chicks safe.

Yes, they will! My buttons are usually good mothers, except the occasional one.
