It is great stuff. My old girl would still have occasional problems, but it even seemed to shorten the duration of her bad spells.

I've used benebac in the past too, which is good as well but I definitely preferred probios. It comes in much more practical sizes for larger scale or long term use and I had fewer problems with caking.

Another supplement that I had good luck with in dogs that I know is also made for horses, cats, small mammals, and birds is Missing Link. I have heard good things about it from horse and pet bird owners as well. I don't know if they make livestock sized packages of anything but the horse version however.
