I'm not entirely sure where this should go, but it's gonna be used for quail and i like the people in the quail section so i'll post it here.

This is my latest coop/whatever you want to call it, I'm planning on tractoring my bobwhites till they reach process age. The base is 4x6 ft and constructed out of 2x6's, the housing portion is 2x4 ft and has 1/2 inch hardware cloth for flooring. The housing portion is open faced with 2 2x2 ft doors that take up the entire front face, it'll be in use from early spring till early winter. I designed the pen this way so that the quail can have access to fresh vegetation, dirt, bugs and all that fun nature stuff and then be safely locked up at night. The wire supports are 1/2 or maybe 3/4 inch conduit connected with pvc right angles. To roof it i used some scrap pond liner, the stuff people make koi ponds with. My original intention was not to build something like this, it was originaly going to be a hoop house with a tarp modified for quail, but my plans kept getting bigger and bigger. I'm also going to use it as a breeder/quarentine cage for my OEGB's and whatever other birds i can put in it. The pen was surprisingly cheap to build, i kinda wish i had come up with this plan before. BTW the pics don't do it justice in the least, its actually alot nicer than the pics look, and it's gonna get painted camo [just to show the neighbors how redneck we really are]
