Quail treat planters?

So now that I actually have quail and they're ADORABLE, I'm thinking of making a few mini-planters as treats that I can rotate in and out of their enclosure as they mow the plants down.

Currently thinking of growing:

Dutch clover
Dandelions
Basil
Cat grass (aka common oats)

Are these plants quail safe, and does anyone have recommendations for other fairly small quail-nommable plants?

These quail are going to be self-seasoning, lol

The Holistic Hen blog wrote about some of the benefits of watercress for quail, so we're trying to grow some starts in our indoor garden right now. Whether my picky quail will eat them is another story lol..
