4 week old is “head hen”, terrorizing the little ones the moment they were introduced, no surprises there. The Polkies grew up with juvie quail and her siblings so they get along very well. But guess who is next in the pecking order? This 2 week old baby walk up to the polkies, stares her in the eye then jumps in for a mean peck. Poor Polkie let out a stunned chirp and by the time she thought to retaliate, quail baby had scooted away to safety. Boy am I going to have a fun time integrating these with the juvies and the adults in 2 weeks.
