Quails raised on grass ? Max quail density for the grass not to die ?

Hi, I'm considering getting a few Coturnix quails in my garden. I'm hesitating between a stationary coop or a tractor, but I have a lot of tall grass in my garden because I'm letting it grow a bit wild so I don't think moving a quail tractor around would be that easy... Which is why I was considering building them a permanent habitat for them to live in. I'd really like to raise them on the grass, and I don't need that many quails, I don't mind not having many eggs and I don't plan on eating them. Hence my question, if I build a 4m² (about 43 square feet) enclosure for them, and put around 5 or 6 quails in that space, would the grass stay green or would I inevitably end up with bare soil on the long term (I don't mind bare patches) ? I thought maybe if the quails' "poop pressure" was not too heavy on the grass it might not die and be able to renew itself ?
Maybe my question is silly, I've never raised birds before, I've read a lot about quails but I haven't been able to find a satisfactory answer to my question, since everybody seems to have a much much higher "quail density" in their enclosure (so then ofc the grass would die rapidly).
Thanks in advance for your answer.

With that amount of space with only 5-6 quail, I think it would take a long time for them to go through all of the grass. It might last.

Would depend on how high the grass/weeds are when you introduce them to the enclosure. 43 sq.ft. isn't very big, even for 5-6 quail. Quail will eat alot of greenery if they have the opportunity. If you had 2 pens, you could switch them between pens to give the other pen a rest.
