Awhile back, a friend of mine ordered 2 naked necks for me from McMurray. She ended up getting the order in about 3 weeks ago, and she decided she wanted to keep the 2 for a week or so, to make sure they were healthy and everything.

I recieved my shipment of chicks from McMurray last Monday, all alive and thriving... on the exact day I was told they would arrive! So I'd like to say I am very happy with my McMurray order and plan on ordering from them in the near future... most likely next year, as I am quite full with space at this moment, and I will most likely order from them for chicks to sell, as my business is growing and I am getting more and more customers.
I do guess, however, every business starts small and eventually grows, and I am located in a very small town.

Anyways, back to my topic

Last week I had a bunch of baby birds I had sold that I had to drop off, and I figured that along the way I'd stop and get my Naked Necks. My friend that ordered them figured that instead of me paying her, we would do a trade, and since one of the naked necks died, she only wanted to trade one. I told her what I had, and she said she would take one of the Silver Spangled Hamburgs I recieved last Monday in turn for the Naked Neck.
So we had a deal, and I picked the little Naked Neck up, cute little thing, and I just sat and looked at it and observed it had green legs. So obviously it must be a naked neck ee.

Is it true that whatever I cross my necked neck to that the young produced will also be naked necks? Like if I cross my naked neck to my silkie will I have a showgirl? And if I cross my naked neck to a frizzle will I have a frizzled naked neck?

Thanks!

Hi!
Naked Neck to feather neck should always give you half naked neck chicks and half feather neck chicks.

Naked Neck to Silkie will be Naked Neck x Silkie crosses (or Naked Neck Silkies).
1st generation will be half naked neck chicks and half feather neck chicks and all regular feathered (not silkie feathered).
2nd generation, the regular feathered NNxSilkie cross birds bred back to a Silkie will be mostly silkie feathered and more Silkie-looking.

If you cross a smooth NN to a feather neck Frizzle, the chicks have the same chance (50%) to be NN as Frizz: you could get feather neck frizz, nn frizz, feather neck smooth, or nn smooth.
Just depends on how the planets have lined up
