i was wondering if polish hens have blood feathers on their heads and if not can you cut them back so they can see better?
thanks in advance....

As I understand it, blood feathers are feathers that are still growing. The shaft will be dark. After the feather is fully developed, the shaft becomes lighter and if you cut it it won't bleed.

I have heard of people trimming a Polish's "do" to help them with vision.
