Question about Broody Hens!!

Is there anything that you can do to help encourage your other hens they should want to be broody? I know that sounds wierd but I am curious! I'm pretty happy one of my cochin hens finally has decided to go broody just wondering when the other girls will..

Nope, it's all up to them really. You could try leaving fake eggs in the nest, but it's a hormonal/physiological change...not really a mental/emotional one.

I have always had luck with locking them in a small cage with the nest and eggs in a quiet dark place and usually within one or two days she will go broody
