Question about building a waterer.

I have all the pieces for a pvc waterer and i have a question. Do i need to seal the pieces I am putting together with something? I have purple primer and pvc cement,not sure if i can use that?

That's the same stuff they use when putting pvc in houses,thinking you'll need something if you don't want Leaks.

Did you mean you were thinking if i dont use something it will leak?​

I use pvc cement but do not seal up everything in case I need to disassemble or make any changes. If you have low pressure, you can get away with not having it all sealed with cement
