We got 5 Guinea fowl last week and they all ran off and one came back. We went and got 5 more from the same flock and our one went straight to one particular from the flock and ran in the coop and has pecked at it and has laid right next to it in a corner for 2 days now. I’m worried because it was getting bullied now it’s in a corner laying with its head buried. It lifts its head up and will peck at food and water. But if movement occurs the one “guarding” it starts pecking it. Any ideas?

Get that baby outa there in into a crate or something safe. Check him over for wounds, give him a night of peace to recoup and calm down in a crate, then move the crate into the coop. Give a few days of look but no touch until they get used to him. If they charge, put him back in crate.
