Question about Cayugas

Helios, I sent a PM but I think I messed up because it's not showing in my sent box. Anyway, we are holding off on hatching eggs for now. The plan is to get some chicks, and maybe next year hatching some ducklings. For now my son is going to focus on showmanship, and will see where it goes from there. This is his first year so I don't want to go overboard. Thank You.

No Problem. That's not the first time I've heard of PM problems, although I'm not sure I know where to check them

And as for the post about bill color, yes, olive is ok...most of my ducks have an olive tinge at the tip. It's the orange that you don't want to see in a young bird.

That's right, they are extremely dark green bills, not really black

also, on the white thing, hens can get away with it after they are 1 year old(they too should be all black as yearlings) , males should have none at any age
