question about chicken toys

hello im new here and have searched books and online and cant find what im looking for.
our chicks are about 3 weeks and seem to be bored while waiting to be moved to the larger coop. if i hang a c.d in their pen what do i hang it with?
i dont want them to get strangled by fishing line or rope. any suggestions? thanks!

You can hang the CD using any small gauge polyester, cotton, or hemp rope at eye level. Your chickens will not get strangled in it.

Heck I've given them shoelaces to play with and they've had fun.

It honestly doesn't take much to entertain chickens.

they like a brightly colored small ball also or wooden blocks to jump on, etc.
