Question about egg color genetics

If I were to cross a Welsumer rooster with a regular brown egg layer hen (e.g. Rhode Island White), what color of eggs would the pullets lay? Thanks in advance for your help!

they would be brown. maybe a deeper brown to start with depending on the backround of the roo.

They would be a normal brown, if not a tad darker than normal. Dark egg layers are pretty easy to lighten the egg of, and most Welsummers already have just a terra cotta type brown.
