Question about Feather-Legged Cuckoo Marans

I purchased a Cuckoo Maran and a Feather-Legged Cuckoo Maran yesterday. Every feather-legged breed I've seen develops the feathers on the legs within the first week or so but the Maran is still bare legged at about 9 days. She has characteristically different markings than the standard Cuckoo Maran but no feathers on the legs, at what point do they they develop? Pics at the bottom of My Page .

Now that the Marans breed has been accepted by the APA with feathers on the legs it will be a disqualification if you show it clean legged.

Thanks! I reposted this later on the Marans thread and got a lot of info too (and the "s" chastisement!). I had some mix-ups on which chicks were which chicks
