Yes pheasants love sunflower seeds.I buy the walmart brand nuts n berry mix as a treat for them, they love that too.Any kind of seed pumpkin,millet,thisle wild bird,peanuts,etc. is good for them.
On the turkey feed,it has basitration(I think)this is for blackhead in turkeys and peafowl.I don't believe it will hurt pheasants,but I am not possitive.
I cut out the corn in the summer months as it gives off heat.There are small amounts in pellets anyways.
