Question about female guinea

I have already had one momma guinea hatch out some eggs. We ended up having to move the babies because they were getting pecked on by another guinea. This was the momma's first time. When I took them away, both the babies and momma acted depressed. The babies are still not too happy. My question is: will this momma start laying more eggs this season?

Aw, too bad you weren't able to keep them together. Other people have found guineas to make poor mothers but my guinea hen was a great mother. I did keep her and the keets confined together in a pen for 4 weeks before letting them roam with the rest of the flock again.

Give the mama several weeks to recover from her broodiness. She may lay again this season.
