The feeder is in the coop, suspended from the ceiling. For winter, I have a bucket in the coop because it won’t freeze as quickly there.
During the day, I put a second bucket outside, near their favorite hiding shrub. That second bucket is used to top off the inside bucket at night before I bring it in to refill the next morning.
