question about incubation of call duck eggs and setting tonight

I posted this under incubating, but got no responses.. since this is a question specific to ducks thought I would try here too.. I am trying to incubate call duck eggs.
I have a brinsea octo 10 with the egg turner. I bought a therm/hygrometer for a reptile terrarium --I couldn't find anything else that would fit ok in there with the eggs... I am just wondering if anyone else has used this set up with duck eggs, if so, how did you increase the humidity for the duck eggs, did you hand turn or let the little turner do the job...

I just lost 9 eggs in this incubator, I didn't have anything to accurately measure the humidity and my husband thinks the thermometer I used was actually inaccurate as well...

so as soon as I get it up to temp, and I am gonna set the eggs tonight I think.

I can't comment on your incubator, but duck eggs like to be hand turned so I would get rid of the automatic turner. Maybe someone will chime in who has the same incubator to answer your humidity question. I incubated calls for the first time and 5 hatched out of 6 eggs at lockdown. Just posting to say good luck! I don't know the specifics on your incubator, but Scott from Ozark Bantams uses the Brinseas. You could maybe PM him. I set my Call eggs and we are on day three, so you and I will be pretty close. Double the vote for hand turning, it is what I have heard as well.
