Question about Leaving Chickens

I have woken in the middle of the night in a panic over whether or not I locked the up in the coop. Get my rob and jacket, find the flashlight or grab the hurricane lamp and out I go. Usually I have locked them in.

They stay in if I am going to be gone over night. If I need to be gone when it's warmer I will get em a fan.

I always close the doors to the coop at night. There are too many predators around my house not to.
