Question about meds...

I know if you treat your chickens with meds you aren't supposed to eat the eggs for a certain length of time.

But can you still hatch eggs from chickens you are treating with antibiotics, Wazine or Sulmet? Will it harm the chicks, cause defects or prevent them from hatching?

Typically a breeder is not trying to hatch eggs from a bird that needs medication: thus your answer. Neither do you worm birds in the breeding pens.

Exception:
Sometimes there might be an outbreak of cocci thus the sulmet: save the eggs and hatch them.
