question about muscovy ducks

I was just wonderin if there are signs I can look for to know when my 2 girls will start layin. I got them last summer when they were ducklings (not sure how old they were)... do the girls and boys do some kind of matin dance. I was outside watchin them today and it looked like it? I didnt see any matin going on but my 2 girls did start fightin with each other?

Their "butts" will get heavy/droopy looking when they start to lay. When they mate the girls will lay flat and drop their wings to the side(if they want it, lol) and the boys will just mount them and do it. Muscovies don't need water to mate though so they will do it all over the place... they have no shame

ETA: they look a couple weeks old in the pictures, Muscovies start laying around 7 months old, so you should have eggs soon, maybe another month or so?

LOL... Ok Thanks. I'm gettin excited to get our 1st duck eggs............. wish they would hurry.
