Question about my ayam cenami

So I have this ayam cenami that I thought was a hen but turned out she is a he (currently working on his crow as we speak). Now, his feathers just are not coming in he’s about 6-7 m old. Is there something I can give him? His brother is the most beautiful ayam I ever seen, he’s going back home though because I bought a hen/rooster (and he wants to kill my hens grrr).

Nothing you feed will repair faulty or damaged feathers.
Could be a genetic issue.

Do you think he’s just a late bloomer and he may come into his feathers in time?

Are you talking about the shiny long male feathers that roosters have, that I don't yet see on him? For those, the only solution is to wait. Some cockerels are just really slow to grow them, and there is not really anything you can do to speed that up.

If you are talking about the ragged look of his current feathers, he will grow new ones when he next molts, but I don't know of any way to speed that up either. You could make sure that no other chickens are picking on him, because you don't want them to damage his new feathers whenever they grow in.

Well he had a brother and he was the spawn of satan, but I never saw him pick on him…doesn’t mean it didn’t happen though. Watch he’s going to be the most beautiful rooster ever!
