Question about my boody hen

I have a banty that has been sitting for about a week and a half or so. Her eggs are not fertile so i gave her a few golf ball to sit on and gave her a duck egg a few days ago. I'am getting ameraucana eggs in the mail today. If i put some of the eggs under her will she sit 3 more weeks or should i just put them in the bator. These are eggs i really want to hatch. I Know the odds of shipped eggs are that great.

I wouldn't risk any eggs that I really wanted to hatch under a new broody. you may want to try to break her if she starts looking weak. golf balls will just encourage her to sit. I have never had a broody until recently so i am no expert.

I have hens that have set for a couple months. Most I have tried to break, but there are a couple that are not breakable. Pigie set for 7 weeks last year. I can up breaking her at 4 weeks and gave her eggs. She hatched them in late August and raised them all. That was her 4th brood of chicks. Her 5th brood is currently 3 weeks old.

You can leave her on the golf balls and incubate the eggs. Once they get close to hatch, put them under the hen to finish. I do that alot. In fact "Blue" is getting eggs today that are due to hatch Monday.
