Question about my broody hen

Update:
All the chicks are dead (similar to the last 2). One was crushed and the other was torn apart. I found its gizzard close to the corpse. (None of my adult chickens were roughed up, just the chicks.)
I think I'm going to try to close this thread now, seeing as the chicks are no longer really *ahem*, uh, you know. :\
