Question about new marans roos

Hello my name is Myra im new to the forum!! Puchased chicks, from first batch only one made it and its a roo which is now 2 1/2 months old and not showing any copper at all. Is it normal if so when will he start, hes got the best temperament, love the little guy. Well second batch I got sent out of 6 only one pullet and its a mix put in by mistake. All black copper marans are roos lol one has white feathers on breast, is it normal???

the white in the wings will go away as they molt, not sure on the chest. Most roos start to get the copper in when they get their male hackle and saddle feathers (around 3 to 4 months of age)
