Question about older chicks&just hatched

Hello,I have two chicks that will be 3 weeks when I have some new ones hatching,can I put them in the same brooder box together?Also I have turned off the brooder lamp because it's so darn hot in Florida right now do I have turn it back on?

I wouldn't mix hatchlings with 3 week olds. First off, they both need different temps in the brooder. Second, the little ones could get trampled by the larger 3 week olds, and could harm the babies. Keep the babies in their own brooder.

As long as the temp is proper in the house/brooder, you don't need the light on. However when it cools down at night, you will need to turn the light back on.

That's kinda what I thought,I guess I could set up the 2 older ones in another water trough although that room is goning to be crrroowwwddedd!!maybe I'll pull out the bed,no houseguests.
