We are incubating for the first time. We hatched one already and it went like you read online. Now this one seems different. Notice the first pip with the hole in it. This is in the middle of the egg and occurred last night at 8:25 pm. The hole is tiny but noticeable. Now this morning around 9am I noticed the second puncture with what appear to be another crack in the shell. My concern is I know the membranes of the green eggs are so thick (hard to crack when eating) so I’m concerned she cannot get enough air and I’m wondering if is in the wrong position. I know hatching can take as much as 24 hours. Is what I’m seeing concerning and should I do anything at this point? Humidity has remained 72-75 percent during this process. Our other hatchling is chirping nearby in hopes of encouraging this one along.
. Thank you!
