Question about putting chicks together

I have six chicks I got last Tuesday from Meyer. I got six more today, so they're exactly a week apart. Is there any reason I SHOULDN'T have them together? They're all in the same brooder and appear to be doing okay so far.

No reason at all. I mixed chicks up to 3 weeks difference in ages. Several times..... because I couldn't resist getting more chicks when I went back to the feed store for more chick starter feed.

They all did just fine.

one week is a great age difference if anything lol, but I have had luck with my 4 week age gap as well, though closer to 3 is reccomended by some. No problems here though

That's what I figured, but I was amazed at the size difference already!
