I do all my birds the same way Deerman, Just to much time and effort in them to put on the ground too early.
And he's right, the medicated starter will prevent in most cases, early coccidia, that's actually what it's "Medicated" for, at least all I have ever seen is.

Some feed processors are taking the amprolium (coccidiostat) out of their formula now. Guess it saves them money. Always read the labels; I had to switch brands to get that medication for coccidia in the feed.

Well my pair is a little over a year now. I bought them when they were 6 mos and I know that they were on medicated starter prior to my buying them. Then I continued them on it for sometime afterwards. So I will assume that it was from the berries and I will continue to watch them. Maybe I will get some ACV for their water and maybe get some plain yogurt as well.
