Question about size

Hi! So me being new to breeding i wanted to ask you guys something just to be sure!
So i have a big brahma rooster, huge guy for his age (1 year) and i was wondering what are the chances of the chicks to be bigger than him?
Does the hen play a big part? Or its just luck involved?

Depends on who you breed him too. If you breed him to a large Brahma hen around the same size, then they’ll probably be around the same or possibly a bit larger.
