Question about stall dry vs. stall freshener?

My local feed store carries "stall freshener". Is this something I should use in my chicken's coop? They don't carry de-they've never heard of it. Is it the same as stall dry which I read here has de in it?

No it's not the same unless it's named "Stall Dry" made by Absorbent Products Ltd. I've used it in my horse stalls for a long time and when we got chickens in the coop and sprinkle in the run now and again. It looks more like kitty litter. The other stall freshners are usually a powder.

I meant do they have same ingredients. Does anyone know?

Stall Dry Ingredients: Diatomaceous Earth & Montmorillonite Clay (Volcanic Ash)

The other in question: No clue, you never said the company and product name..

But now you can at least go back and look at the ingredients of the other product and compare.
