Question about what my chickens eat...Need Advice plz!

I recently had some rabbits who have found homes now. I noticed my chickens eating left over rabbit food and maybe the rabbit Poo? Will this hurt my chickens and why in the he** would they eat poo? They are on a good diet of laying pellets/corn/scratch I feed them left over boiled egg's & shells. So Are they lacking something to make them wanna eat rabbit poo? Thanks for any advice on this.

It's probably a protein thing. If you soak the rabbit food in water, you can feed it to the girls in small amounts.

Chickens will eat just about anything they can find, even things you don't want them to eat. Mine stuck their heads in a bucket of laytex paint thinking it was something good to eat. They came up spitting paint but were fine.

Just remember , if you feel dizzy out in the coop or run make sure you fall face first. Those things will pick your eyes out!!
