Question about White Crested and Seizures

I just got a baby white crested female. I did not know that they are prone to have seizures. How likely is it that this will happen? I was thinking about keeping it as an inside duck for my son... however I don't want to have to have him watch a duck suffer from something like that. Is the seizure thing likely? Does anyone have experience with this?

One way to help it not be as apt to happen is if you feeding chick starter to supplement with a B complex. You can get a good one at TSC usually it’s in the cattle dept. liquid an it will say injectable but we give it orally it’s all round good support for muscle an brain health. Not a guarantee but sure can help. The large the crest the bigger the chance of neurological issues.
