So I wanted to ask if potatoes and carrots use the same nutrients? Now a lot of people tend to use simple nutrient classification of NPK etc. That's fine. But there's more than that somehow. And we know this because if you plant strawberries for example and use them in the same area for a few years they'll eventually use all that up and not be able to produce. Then if you move something else there it won't be perfect but they'll still produce a vegetable. And similarly some vegetable plants can be grown together and complement each other without competition in many cases without competition. Like a 3 sisters method.

So... that made me want to ask if that's going to work or NOT work with potatoes and carrots? And part of what made me ask that also is when I set up grow boxes for potatoes in like a cardboard box or a wooden box, there's room to squeeze a couple carrots in a few places in some spots because carrots are so thin. BUT again that depends on if they won't compete or if they can complement each other...?
