Question for breeders about colors

Hi! I was wondering if anyone knows what colors I should expect if I breed a black cochin roo to my buff cochin hen?

I'm thinking that you would get some spoted chicks and as they grow older they might be a light blue-ish color.

I would say black...it's a dominant color. Probably with some gold speckles around the hackle...like you would see on a BSL.

I think why only 1 person has answered is that when you breed pure breed chickens for show or to enhance the breed (unless you are breeding splashes or blues) you breed to the same color to meet APA standards.
